Overview
Ricky has over 40 years’ varied experience in construction and civil engineering, and 13 years’ specialised experience in construction dispute related consultancy. Having qualified as a Civil Engineer in 1970 Ricky gained 16 years of conventional construction experience in the UK and overseas, followed by 13 years of varied project management and management systems consultancy work, before moving into full time dispute work in 1999. In 2003, Ricky joined Davis Langdon’s legal support group where he worked closely with David Halford on delay and disruption expert analysis.
Background and experience
Ricky has worked in various capacities on a wide range of construction and engineering projects including highways and bridges, railways, airports, oil pipelines, power stations, dams, harbour works, commercial and industrial buildings and hospitals both internationally and in the UK domestic market. In particular, Ricky has experience of working on overseas dispute related projects in Lesotho, Hong Kong, Philippines, the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar), Peru, Turkey, Ireland and Canada.
